DOT 3 or DOT 4 for clutch fliuid
I want to purge my clutch fluid being it is looking pretty dirty. I have read that it takes DOT 3 brake fluid. I was at Napa and they had Valvoline DOT3/DOT4 sync....is that OK to use for both brake and clutch fluid...
It is a 93 civic EX

It doesn't matter really, DOT 4 can be used in place of DOT 3. They're generally the same price too. Also, DOT 4 will be less prone to absorbing moisture and is less hygroscopic. DOT 3 is thirsty stuff.
