Does the starter solenoid go bad?
I just put a clutch in my b18b1 swapped civic. it took a few days due to rain, so now the car wont start without getting jumped off. But when its running the alternator works good, im reading 14+ volts at the alternator and battery, and i had my starter tested before the clutch swap and it was good
now when i try to crank it i just hear one click from the starter, and sometimes not even anything at all
even though the starter checked good could it have bad this time? or could it be something else?
if the starter is bad why would the car jump start? could it be no power getting to the starter?

Re: Does the starter solenoid go bad? (memorybox)
If it jump starts with cables connected to the battery, then it has to be either the battery or alternator. If it was the solenoid, then it wouldn't work either way.

Re: Does the starter solenoid go bad? (turbociviccoupe)
it was the positive battery terminal connector, i hit it to nock it loose and the wire came out, so i tightned it down and it would crank fine thx
