Not to be an ***, but your name is "HONDAK20" and you don't know what motors will go into your Civic?

Here's a real answer:
Yes, a K20 of any variety can fit and run in a 1993 hatchback. Here's the issue:
Money.
That's right, money. Expect to pay $4K-5K just for the motor and transmission (possibly a wire harness and ecu if you're lucky). Then, there's mounts, axles, custom header, exhaust, KPro by Hondata .... and then the kicker: the labor. Expect to pay around $2K-3K just for the install. Add all those parts up, and you're kicking rocks around the $7K-8K range.
So unless you've got $8000 to waste on a motor swap, and then another $3K-4K to put a turbo kit on .... don't ask stupid questions.

Calm, beast.
Also, going to UTI won't help you install a K20 into an EG. It'll just help you know more about working on cars in general. They don't have a Honda specific program, because Honda has their own private mechanics institute .... It's like Honda Automotive Credentials Program .... or something like that.

dear god!
you cant even spell how the hell are you going to UTI. i dont even want to go through all your gramatic errors.
we "dog" on you because first the question you ask is asked every single day by idiot 16 year olds. Second your name is HONDAK20 if you are going to name yourself that then you should have at least lots of knowledge or your car is K powered.
You should be offended. I would be offened if i was out some where and i hear a bunch of little kids talking about putting K20s in their cars and dont even know if it fits.
You are a noob. Why is it only the 92-00 forum produces so many idiots. When i owned a CRX and only went to the "EF" forum there wouldnt be dumbass like the ones here...so sick...
EDIT!!!!!! god, you just edited your post...making it even MORE stupid. I just realized your tittle read if a K20 fits in a CIVIC if an FING k20 fits why wont a "type S" FIT its the same ******* motor basicly. DEAR GOD!!!!! MY EYES!!! HELP ME SEE THE LIGHT!!!
not only are you asking the most retarded questions. You edit by asking even dummer questions that has been asked a million times. DO A SEARCH
then you proceed to ask what turbo kit to go with it....
there are so many answers to this equations.
you mind as well ask HT what clothes you should wear tomarrow and what fat girl you should make out with this weekend. Maybe you should even ask what brand toliet paper to wipe your *** with. Or better yet how about ask us which parents you love more...
ok im done ranting...please search...
my opinion dont post anything for 2 weeks and anything and everything you ask just type it in the search box. Dont forget to hit the archive button...
i feel sick for our next generation.
