on a Funny Car, yes! on a NASCAR, yes! on anything with a aerodynamic drag co-eff of less than 1.20 yes, but to your average street car its just for looks, mainly speeds below 80mph it doesnt really have any effect on the performance of the vehicle

I came up with these two in search. It seems it helps if your current grounds aren't the greatest to begin with. Then again a good cleaning and/or replacing worn and corroded ground wires would help as well.

depends on cost vs potential gain.......... for my truck it was a necessity due to age and corrosion and the ignition system I run along with the high current draw lights and sirens. I havnt done it on the car and hadnt really planned to unless its needed due to more stereo upgrades, HID headlights, and the possible addition of some lights

what would be your purpose for doing it? what is it gonna cost you in money and time?

but for the sake of an outright answer, YES! but thats cuz the more mods the better

whats a ground body kit? wow...

and from what i gather they do work. but it will only really be noticeable if your old grounds are not the best. other wise it will help a little but only as much as using premium spark plugs or wires.

Grounding kits do work but they do not GIVE you any hp gain.

The theory is that by properly grounding the car you are increasing the engines efficiency when it comes to spark etc.

If your current grounds are all corroded then yes I would add a grounding kit or simply replace the stock grounds with some new ones. (making your own is pretty simple)

If your current ones are toast then you will notice your headlights may be brighter with new grounds... the alternator will run smoother, it may increase your spark marginally. All that in turn supposedly helps free up 2-3 hp that may be getting lost right now if your grounds are toast.

I out one on caus eit was dirt cheap and noticed my headlights were brighter at night but that was the only noticable diff for me.

Ive seen grounding kits in magazines give up to about 5 HP...

All depends on your setup and how well your grounds and ignition system is in the first place...

the thing is... You dont have to waste money on one of those kits if you know what your doing...

Why totally replace wires if they're corroded? You could just clean the contacts up with a wire brush or some fine sandpaper and maybe ad a dab of dielectric grease to prevent future corrosion.
