Default DIY Request for removing 92-95 dash

Anybody have a link to a DIY with picture on how to remove your dash on a 92-95 civic? I have scare of fuxing it up. Don't care if the write up is here or on another site, I just need to be able to print it up.

I searched and didn't see one, hoping somebody knows where one is.

I don't think any of the writeups still have pictures. But from memory this is how it goes:

  1. Remove the knee bolster and then remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts to drop the steering column.
  2. Remove the cluster bezel (2 screws up top, and one under the hazard switch) once this out disconnect the back ground that goes to the metal framework under the dash.
  3. Disconnect the air mix cable from the heater core (basically under the left corner of the glove compartment)
  4. Remove glove compartment door.
  5. Remove the center vent in the top of the dash and the two small covers on each end of the dash (visible with the doors open)
  6. Unplug the dash harness from the fuse panel (you want to unplug the stuff on the top of the fuse panel on the front of the panel
  7. Remove the lower part of the dash the ashtray is part of.
  8. Remove the 6 bolts that hold the dash in (all of them are black if they're original with 10mm heads)
  9. Carefully pull the dash out, you will need to unplug the heater controls when the dash is partway out.
  10. Pull the dash out the rest of the way.
After you've done these a few times you can pull one in about 20 minutes.

Wow, does anybody use the FAQs anymore?

e. Dashboard

92-95 Civic Dash Removal/Installation
94-01 Integra Dashboard Into 92-95 Civics

Note especially the second one, which has pics. Also, if you download the service manual (which should be your new best friend), it will have a good step-by-step too.
