Default difference b/n 4 and 5 lugs and what kind of setup?

yoyo whats goin. I just bought sum integra rear trailing arms for my 93 civic. Ive been lookin for rims since im plannin on upgrading my brakes first, and its hard to find 17 inch rims for 4 lug civics. My question is, is there a major difference in 4 or 5 lug? If i plan on gettin around 300 hp. and lots of torque, will it be better to convert to 5 lug? or is there no point? I was also told here that i should go with 16 rims, but my friend told me the best tires are available with rims starting at 17 inch. So, ppl with experience with heavy speed, please, tell me what type of setup i should do.

ex.
17 in rim 4X100 offset???) or 16 inch or go with 5 lug with 16's or 17's
spoon calipers or other??
what kind of performance brake hose?
etc. etc.
True Honda speedsters, help a fella out!

the reason most people go with 5 lug is because the brakes are bigger.

major difference?...hell yes...with the five lug, you are getting bigger rotors, better stopping power and not to mention sporting that "5 lug" title...as far as wheel choices, i'd say go with whatever you like...people are mostly running smaller rims b/c i guess it's a phase...big blinging rims have been out for a few years now if you haven't noticed...

4 and 5 lugs are not directley related to bigger brakes etc

4 lugs = theres 4 ******* lugs
5 lug=there are 5 lugs,

most people do it for the hey look at this

you should find 4 lug wheels for your car and most companys make them in a variety of sizes

shut the expletive up you moron, smaller rims = less unsprung weight

no direct coalation with # of lugs and brake torque and rotor diameter

woah...excuse me for being the moron who's trying to give my input...so you're saying the ctr/itr five lug conversion DOESN'T have bigger rotors and MORE stopping power than the stock integra four lug?...go e-thug it somewhere else dumb ***

i had a brembo big brake kit (caliper, rotor) on a 4 lug coupe with 16" wheels and falken st 115's and i daily drove/weekend raced it and did a 5 lug conversion with itr calipers and powerslot rotors with 16" itr wheels and a new set of st 115's and i was disapointed with the stopping power and if i hadnt enlisted i probably wouldve switched back.

Of course you would be dissapointed going from a brembo kit (was it the GT kit) to an oem type r kit. I would love to have big brakes, I just dont think I can get 16's to hook at the dragstrip.
