Default Diagram of in car fuses

I'm in need of a location for a 12 volt source inside the car. Does anyone have a diagram that shows what each area of the in car (under column) fuse box is/does? TIA.

(car= 1994 Civic DX Hatch)

Its actually a better idea to just route a wire from the postive terminal on the battery and then splice the ground wire onto a black wire. Usually a black wire is ground. The reason why its not a great idea to hook up a wire to a 12V source under the dash is because you can overload that wire causing a fuse to blow.

So if he took your advice (lets assume he has no prior car knowledge, Im sure you do, but lets assume) he would have to turn on and off the unit manually, and if he were to forget his battery would die. Sounds like a great ******* idea. It is not a bad idea to wire something into the fuse panel, actually thats the safest way. IF He were to overload that wire causing a fuse to blow, thats a lot better than blowing whatever it is that he is hooking up. I wish there were a cliff that I could push these idiots off of.

I agree that the safer route is through the fuse box inside the car, especially seeing as how I only need to hook up one item. I am not worried about overloading anything. Now, anyone know? I wish the panel in the car had a diagram, but that unfortunately is not the case. I guess I could bust out the test light, but I was hoping HT could help instead of having to go that route.
