Default DC Header

which would be the best choice for my 98 ex?? They have the 4-1 header...the 4-2-1 header...and the 4-2-1 2 piece. Whats the difference in performance and fitment for all of these?? also does anyone know where i can get a good deal on a DC sports stainless steel header?

4-2-1 is for torque , and the 4-1 is for top end power, now depending on what you are lacking in more, I would get the 4-1.

for the SOHC get the 4-2-1.. the 4-1 is really only beneficial to the DOHC engines. The SOHC just doesnt push enough air for the 4-1 design

I got this info from Jonathan at DC Sports...
The reason they made the 2-piece unit is he says to install the one piece the vehicle has to be three feet off the ground...(at least)
But I can say this as a two piece owner...When I work on my car at the shop even though we have lifts it is nice not to have to remove the header every time..
I just unbolt the lower section...

it may be easier to have the two piece, but does it cause any seal problems or anything?

not if you seal it right the first time...that's what gaskets are for, right?
