1.6l vs 1.5l SOHC VTEC, all but displacement seperates the two, both share the same head, intake, exhaust manfiold, cam specs. HP are the same but torque is slightly lower on the d15b
specs are as follows:
130ps (128hp)
14.1kg/m torque (D15b)
14.7kg.m torque (ZC)

where did you get your figures ?

i kinda like that motor ...... i have/had on in my hatch and i am thinkin about tossing it but from what i am hearin now is that this motor is a little monster . Anyone have and build suggestions of this motor ?

PS: i wittnessed for my self my friends hatch chase down a H22A prelude and pass it as though he we goin backwards . ( the civic hatch had Port&polished head, cat removed, Arospeed muffler, AEM cold air intake )

these are honda figures, layed on top of each others (my work)

I used to run a JDM d15b and it defintaly was fun motor for its displacement, damn thing rev so quickly and gave gsrs and si/sir coupe run for its money...it basically run low 15's with just a exhuast, header and ecu.
