It's very clear what you want us to do for you. You want us to do your research. That's not what we do here. It's no secret who makes good pistons. It's also no secret that damn near all aftermarket pistons will have exactly what you want. You want specific part numbers, go find them.

Wiseco Manufactures High Performance Forged Pistons & Performance Parts for Motorcycles, ATVs, Snowmobiles, Marine, and Automobiles

http://www.cp-carrillo.com/

Dude on ebay sells nippon cast pistons, coated skirt, floating pin capable (he machined mine for them), stock comps available. This dude's listings http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-NIPPON-R...-/181643039051

Same bore? Usually you will have too much ptw clearance. Unless you are starting with new sleeves...

I'd recommend bore .25 over...

if you want "not over priced" get supertech pistons, people seem to use them alot without problems. If they don't come coated, then find a coating company and get them coated along with your crank and other engine parts. you can have both skirts and tops coated with different teflon formulas (or whatever) to maximize performance.

.5 over is way more common and it'd increase ring selection if nothing else.

.5 over reduces your wall strength and the number of times you can rebore. But to each their own.

yeah, thats true and all, but d16s are a few hundo.. going from .25 to .5 pistons is going to cost more than replacing the short block and reusing the .5 pistons... i mean, the engine itself is going to be cheaper than the rotating assembly, machine work, or turbo system.

If I ruined my cylinders, chances are high the pistons are shot too. I get machine work cheap. And I'd rather know what I have than gamble on a used block.

Thats the, to each their own
