D16y8 vs D16y7
If I were to put all ex parts on my d16y7 hatch(ex. tranny, intake manifold, and exhaust manifold from d16y8) would an 1/8 mile be a driver's race against an ex?

The ex still has that v-tec crap. Back in the day when I owned a coupe I had bolt ons and my friend had a hatch with a y7 and he had the y8 manifold and tranny from the ex and a delta cam. He would still be about a door behind me at the track.

maybe if you get the y8 head you would be a little closer, until then the y7 comes dead last when talking about honda engines

Re: D16y8 vs D16y7 (Hmoob_Lee_guy)
the y7 is lacking vtec, minus about 20~30 HP right off the bat
even if the driver sucks in the y8 should be able to smoke the y7
