It will physically fit if you have the block bored out for that size. Do you understand what that process involves?

The whole point of the mini ME mod was for a cheap inexpensive way to get a bit more power and vtec.

The most I would do is Magneflux Dye test the rods then shotpeen them to remove imperfections that can cause stress fractures.

That's only a few hundred bucks and gives you a bit more reliability with the higher RPM on toothpick thin rods.

Don't waste your money on trying to "build" the block, it's just not worth it.

You are going to spend enough tuning it being the Y8 doesn't run the same as a Z6 so really should be tuned, while the Z6 can be plugged and run with a P28 with little to no effort.

Oh okay so if I ran the z6 bottom block it would be and the y8 head only becuase I'm ob2 and really don't want to go ob1 and gonna buy the AEM Tru-Time Adjustable Cam& aslo Brian Crower Stage 2 so why not Valvesprings & Retainers aslo? lol and just try to boost 10 psi of boost on a tune and dyno after it's all said and done motorwise.

Tuning on ODB2 isn't really ... reliable nor easily possible.
DO you have goals or just "Build for some arbitrary number I pulled from the sky"?

Take your money, walk up to a tall building, take the stairwell to the roof, make it rain.

That's what your doing without proper plans and knowledge aside from "nahhh man, I want a faster car than an econobox using econobox parts"

Okay so in your eyes what would be the "proper" way to build a mini me swap? Besides this massive write up? https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/faq-d15-sohc-vtec-mini-me-massive-write-up-56k-goodbye-554053/

not waste several hundred for boring and balancing the rotating assembly, for maybe 5whp...not even. I could gut a dx sedan with a Y7 and still beat you....

The thing I dont get is that I've raced and won against b16a2 jdmb16a b18 and a b20(but lost from a DIG) 2 v6 ford mustang all while in a d16y8 ". So why would I wanna go to a b20 if I beat them? just a fyi I already got the z6 block so Ill be using the bottom block.

Build your z6 block and slap a stock y8 head if you want then boost it to 250~ whp and DD it. It'll cost a bit more than a b swap tho but if you want a sohc turbo then go for it. You'll need injectors 450cc and a tune on obd1. About $3000 if bought semi used

I'm guessing you own an eg hatch, most likely gutted lets see the dyno sheet ? or did you just base map it...

Here's my b20V...think you could beat it ? DC2 chassis gutted and caged + areo components. 2371lbs curb weight.
