Default D16y7 with a y8 head swap on a 97 honda hatchback dx

So I'm looking at this hatchback but it needs a lil work. The engine is a d16y7 with a swap y8 head. The work that needs done to it is a new vtec solenoid and iacv. Would I have to look the parts up as d16y7 with y8 head swap or be able to look it up as d16y8?

well since a y7 isn't vtec, you'd look them up for the y8 head.
iacv is on the back of the intake mani, which is also on the head.

Thank you. The hatch is my little cousin car. We want to trade cars mine is a 96 civic ex but he asked me to throw cash on top but told him probably not cause his needs the vtec solenoid changed cause it went bad so doesn't work at all and the idle surges up and down he cleaned it and what not but I figured would just needs a new one as well plus it has a straight pipe from headers back that's welded he said so that needs changed to do o2 sensors are back on it to take check engine light up. So I gotta get the price on what I'm gonna be looking at spending on the car for nothing to be wrong with it so he knows. My EX has no issues to it except needs a good cleaning which is gonna be done soon as I get the time for it

Well technically it's my girl's car lol. My hatch is in the process of a motor swap to a b16a. But the EX is a automatic and my girl wants another 5speed. So why not trade my cousin cars when I have 2 headers at my house and 2 exhaust so can save about 150$ or more on that so just need the iacv and vtec solenoid which looking at only what like 100$ for both when I was looking them up to get the parts if we do the trade. Only thing is though he thinks his car is worth more then what it really is but the best thing on his car is rims in pretty sure their blades. So he asked how much cash to put on top of the trade but I'm not looking to throw cash on top since his needs some work and my girl's doesnt. I mean the EX needs one thing which is a oil pan gasket which is about 13$ fix. Here are pictures of the two cars. Only thing is about the EX is those pics are from when I first bought the car when she was slammed on shitty lowering springs. I raised her back to stock height which the pic where is is parked next to the curb is only pic I currently have of stock height. I would've took pics but my and my cousin actually traded cars for the day to see how we both would like driving them if we did the trade.
