d16y7 - coolant leak

Icon6 d16y7 - coolant leak

I have a problem....I have coolant leaking from lip of the oil pan on the side of the alternator in front..what can it be?

Water pump is on the top rear of the block on the timing belt side. Could be the coolant pipe on the top rear of the block. There's an o ring that sometimes leaks

It just seems like it's coming from the oil pan

Trace the leak upward. Look for coolant seepage from the water pump bleed holes. The water pump is located behind the timing belt covers.

had a leak from the water pump weep hole.
turns out head gasket was on the way out
and putting pressure into the coolant system.
drove it about 4 more months before it
totally sh*t the bed and the problem became a bit more obvious lol.

And if you don't have a top notch air impact gun, then a torque multiplier will help you break the crank pulley bolt free.

Ron's link to hold the crank pulley and the multiplier (linked below) for the bolt:
