d16 car sluggish
my friend took off his IAC to clean it, sprayed carb cleaner in the two holes. he then took off his throttle body to clean as well, when he took that off he took off the FITV under the throttle body and open both ends of the FITV and spray carb cleaner in that too. i told him i dont know if he shouldn't but he did and we plug everything back and now his car runs, idle is fine, but when he steps on the gas, no matter how far or how hard he steps it in the engine will feel slow then slowly has its own mind and speed up and stuff. whats the problem.
the car ran perfectly fine before he did this. thanks.

Re: d16 car sluggish (lv6l)
How long ago did he do the carb cleaner stuff?
It might be a matter of working the rest of the carb cleaner through the motor. I cleaned my IACV and my intake manifold and my car wouldn't start at first. It cranked, but it wouldn't start.
Have him start it and let it idle of a little while. That should work everything through.
Did he hook everything up right? Any vacuum leaks?

he carb it yesterday and been running it until today and it wouldn't go away. i'm pretty sure he wired up everything right, i'll double check to see if there's any vaccuum leaks or mis-wiring.
