Post d15z motor new clutch light flywh. ex trans. jerking

Help i just install my new clutch and 10lb flywheel on my d15z1 motor. I also installed a ex tranny. When i drive or shift at low speeds like 1500 or above 3k about i feel like the car jerks. Or bogging or something.Whats wrong with it. How do i break in the clutch flywheel etc. I try to drive slow and not to drive ride the cutch. If i break in the clutch i heard that i have to wait to the rpm drop and then shift letting clutch pedal smooth?
The paper says i cant drive ruff for 500 miles. And shift not higher than 4k.

It feels like to not make it bogg or jerking when i drive i feel i have to give it more gas when i let off the clutch more. Is that riding the clutch. Idk
i feel like i have to give more gas or something
Whats my prob. B4 when driving it feels more smooth.
Is something wrong with my engine or lighter flywheel etc.
When i put the batt pos terminal on i accidently had spark to the ratchet to near the firewall paint fuel gauge. Idk. Did i damag any sensor or something.
Mayb its the new clutch ex trans my driving...

Please any advice input.

welcome to the world of lightweight flywheels. That's what it is.

Proper break-in for a clutch involves 500 miles of granny shifting, and rev matching.

sounds just like light flywheel and new clutch ..needs break in is all

re the spark from rachet nothing to worry about forget it

I break my clutches in the drive way ride the clutch for a bit with the hand break on a couple of times all good to go never had one fail
did this with my new Ogura 309 its a single plate copper ceramic

It might have worked for you in the past, but that is flat out the second worst way to break in a clutch. Snappy, correct rev matched shifting is the right way, any manufacturer will tell you this, and any manufacturer can void your warranty if you do anything other than this.

Breaking in a clutch is the exact same idea as breaking in new brakes. You have a compound being shoved against a piece of metal, and you expect them to hold onto each other. When you break in your brakes, do you pull the e-brake and drive around town, or do you accelerate to 30, then slam on them? I'll give you a hint - if you're driving around town with your e-brake on, you're a moron.

all shifting should be rev matched regardless of breaking in a clutch or not, but do you really think the average person knows what rev matching is, let alone contain the timing/motor function to properly execute? but somehow thousands of clutches are replaced a year without break in problems. hmm they must all be rev matching. teenage girls and all.

OP: just take it easy for the first 500 miles, work on your clutch/throttle manipulation so your engagement after shifting is smoother, and if you know how to rev match PROPERLY than do so. on a side note, if you are gonna rev match, learn to heal toe. or you will be another one of those guys who rev match as much as they can and then brake at the last second. those guys are usually slow drivers or wreck their cars in canyons trying to have an initial d moment.
