d15b7 engine timing
ok....can someone tell me if I'm right or wrong on this. When you are putting a new timing belt on a d15b7 engine you line the cam pulley marks flat with the head and line up the crank pulley with the center mark on the crank pulley to the mark on the cover or do you use one of the other marks on the crank pulley? My crank pulley has three marks on it, what are they all for?

Re: d15b7 engine timing (greenjunk)
put a socket on the crank pulley bolt and turn it until the single mark( seperate from the three in a group) on the pulley is lined up with the pointer on the bottom cover....that is tdc for cyl #1.....then turn the cam until aligned with the head like in the above pic.....put belt on and tighten until there is about half inch of play......start engine and let idle till fan comes on...check timing with light....pointer on cover should point to center mark....if not turn dist left or right until it is
