D15 block and D16 head - what head gasket?
i have a D15B block in my honda and i believe the head is a b16? possibly a D16? i really dont know but the shop i took it too said that it was.
so my question is, when a put the head gasket on do i go with the block? or head?
the place i went too put the 1.6 valvue seals in the head and used the head gasket from that kit and i blew my head gasket.. so thats obviously not right.
so another question, should a change all the seals they put on the block? or will they be fine as the 1.6 seal kit?
i dont know much.. so please help me

Re: D15 block and B16 or D16 head - what head gasket?
I was thinking it was a JDM D15B . I think they're all the same. I'll have to do some searching. The stamp on the engine says D15B?
Blowing the headgasket may not be the gaskets fault. Is the head warped? Was there overheating int eh past?

yes the stamp is D15B
and i had a cracked valvue.... got the head re done and everything.... put it back together with the head gasket kit they used for the head and the next day... head gasket blew. i believe... under the valvue cover was water, anti-freeze and water...... im taking it apart and looking now
and it didnt overheat untill it blew white smoke and steam AFTER i got the head redone

yepp. got all new gasketss....
since i have everything taken apart is there anything else worth changing? or fixing that could be broke?
or any cheap aftermarket parts that would make my car better?

You should never put cheap parts in your motor, unless you fancy the idea of replacing them within a year. They're cheap for a reason.
While you're doing the head gasket, you'll want to to intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, valve cover and spark plug gaskets, timing belt, water pump, and timing belt tensioner. It also wouldn't hurt to have your injectors cleaned while you have everything apart.
