OK, so I have been all about b-series power since I have been into hondas. I have had 3 b motors and they are lots of fun... but I just picked up this Z6 swap on a trade, and I want to build an all motor SOHC, that means business.

Does anyone know of any companies that make a d-series stroker kit? Does anyone know if it is possible to put a d17 crank in a d16? Has it been done? What kind of resluts?

if you can get ahold of a d17 crank, i have a block we can test fit it on...

AEBS makes D series cranks. You gotta be someone to get them to talk to you though.

Right now I have d15 10.5:1 compression pistons with shot peened and polished ZC rods, Crower valve springs and retainers, and in a few weeks I'm going to get a spare y8 block from a buddy so I don't have much down time. I plan on getting my head milled, PnP'd and a valve job and a High compression head gasket...

There was an article in Honda Tuning where they built a d16 with d17 internals that put down like 150whp. look for that.

d17 crank and pistons will work on a d16z/y block and maybe even d15 block but all i know is im pretty sure u gotta use d17 pistons only
