d-series engine swap questions (d16z6 to d15b7)
Hello everyone. I have owned quite a few hondas but recently bought a 93si hatch with the d16z6. That engine is basically done(d16z6) and was given a d15b7 and have stumbled upon a few problems between the two engines.
this is the d15b7..there is no hose connecting where the arrow is pointing, now if you look at the next picture.....
this is the d16z6 and there is a hose connecting where the arrow is pointing..what is going on here?
now my next question....
this is the d6z6 which has a hole almost centered on the fuel rail end bolt. where the arrow is pointing...now to the next picture
d15b7 with no hole on the top of the bolt but the hole is on the side instead
what can i do to make this work?
If anyone could give some advice or let me know what my problem could be I would very much appreciate it. I'm obviously not the most mechanically inclined person with engines so if I could get a little help it would make my day. Thanks

ok, I think im good to go now. I have changed over fuel rails and I've been told I can block off the hose with a end cap that originally went into the pipe on the d16z6. And yes eventually I will swap over heads from the d16 to the d15 block to get the extra HP. Will this be the same HP specs from the d16z6 (125hp) or is it a little lower with the d15 block? Thanks
