Post Custom Stock Air intake Box Post Pics

Ive been searching what would be a best custom by using the stock air intake box.
I was thinking of using a regular LS stock intake box, By just cutting out the top portion of the box so leaving the filter part exposed.

Ive seen those ARC looking ones with the top and filter in a box and i had that idea with the stock box cutting top portion would that work?
or any custom air intake Advices sort ram etc?

Iv been also searching for custom LS intake boxes online but cant seem to find some. Also Please post your custom intake box

dont cut the top. the intake air comes from under the filter, through it, over the filter and into the throttlebody. cutting the top will result in UN filtered air getting into teh motor. not so good lol

take out the resonator and drop in K&N it will perform just as good as any cold air and will be safer as well.

i like the stock look better than an intake arm anyways

I have a cold air intake and made my own Hot air blocker next to it.

If you want to see how I made it: How To: Automotive - How I make my own hot air blocking panel for intake air filter.
