I use one of less size and hp, and it works reasonably well. Great for impact air ratchet... prolly wouldn't use it for something that requires a lot of air. But for me, as an enthusiast, this is great for basic repairs and upgrades. I spent $200 on my "Husky" setup from Home Depot. Call it ghetto or cheap, but as a high school student really wasn't looking for the Snap-On adventure.

get whatever you can afford, if your only doing work by yourself, your not going to have that big of a duty cycle. That would be fine though, price seems good, plus you get the tools

Wrong forum.

I work at Sears. The compressor itself is a good unit to work with. Has good SCFM rating. But, the impact wrench and air ratchet suck donkey *****. Don't think you're going to be breaking crank pulley bolts anytime soon.

Indeed.

She can't buy anything for friends. Only herself or immediate family members (IE. mom and dad).

I pretty much got in trouble for buying 5 refridgerators and 5 stoves/ranges. They're all for my dad's apartment complex. I had to proove it to them. Thank God I'm still there...

good choice its as much as you can do without getting 220 volts n the garage. i use it and it does 90 percent of what i do. the rest a big breaker works.

the 33 gal is decent

I have this one at my house
60 gal, 175psi, i like it better than the smaller tank, it doesn't run out of air as quick
http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr...ssors

along with this impact gun
excellent gun, i'm very happy with it
http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr...Tools

it does 800 ft/lbs of torque
ive only had one instance where a crank bolt wouldn't come off
I couldn't belive it
