Cruise Control not working
Hopefully this is posted in the right area. I am the new owner of a 1997 Honda Civic EX with 146*** miles. So far the car is meeting my expectations. My only issue is that my cruise control does not work. I checked the fuse but Im really not sure what my order should be of what to check next, any suggestions?

Re: Cruise Control not working
youre one year off buddy. you posted on the 92-2000.
but just to help you, it can be lots of things. bad connection, back control box(its under your dash by the driver side), some times the clucth and brake sensor get lose so they dont let the cruise control activate. thats just a few things to look at but theres plenty more possibilities.

Re: Cruise Control not working
Now i just feel dumb. Seems I cant type. Cars a 1997 and its auto so that narrows down any clutch matters. I mentioned to my mechanic that it doesnt work and he didnt seem overly anxious about trying to fix it. I hit the cruise control button and set. The light comes on just no cruise control actually engages.
