Cruise control not working!!
I press the set button and the cruise control light doesn't come on, nor does it maintain speed. The light on the cruise button also doesn't come on when you press it, however that stopped working long before the cruise stopped working. Looked for the fuse and it seems there is no cruise control fuse under the dash or in the engine bay. By the way this is for a 93 del sol with the d16z6. Any info/help would be appreciated!!! Sorry for the novel!
ISSUE RESOLVED:
The problem was the switch on the clutch pedal. It didn't make good contact with the clutch pedal. Adjusted it and worked flawlessly.

Re: Cruise control not working!! (Bob Dole!)
If you do a lot of diagnosing and such it's a great investment. Get a digital one for 30-40 bucks at radioshack, I was hesitant about getting one but's it's one of my favorite toys...umm...tools. Otherwise I don't know what to tell you, I would say it's either:
A) not getting power
B) Bad component
Multimeter will tell you which.

Well shucks! I guess I'll double check all the connections and if that doesn't work, break down and buy a multimeter!

I'm not sure if any of the connections are exposed as I've never had stock cruise control before but make sure you keep a good eye out for corrosion.

Make sure you've got vacuum going to the cruise. It absolutely won't work without it. Also check the throttle cable - there's one that runs from the cruise to the back of the gas pedal.

Re: Cruise control not working!! (Vindicator9000)
It has the electronic cruise same as 92-95 civics, not the vacuum system the 96-00 have. I thought about the throttle cable too, but I would think the light would at least come on if that was the case, plus when I operate the cruise cable by hand, the throttle body opens and closes just like it should. Man I wish it was as simple as the cruise cable!

I know here it doesn't mention a fuse:

But I'd pull each one looking for a bad fuse. The fifth gens use fuse 12 for cruise control.

Re: FV-QR (NOFX)
I noticed in the thread nofx posted fuse #24 is the cruise fuse in a del sol. However my cluster and all that still works and the fuse was not blown. In fact no fuse was was blown in the whole fuse panel! So its likely that its the module itself. I'll likely get a multimeter tomorrow and find out for sure.
