Cool Flip key alarm....Go Go or No Go ??
I do hv an alarm, or I should probably say I did hv an alarm
it's a Hornet 554T alarm which comes w/ the car when I bought this 99 Si this summer
When I first bought the car,
the pager is kinda broken already (LCD screen is totally broken), but door locks, panic and remote start still works
about 3 month ago, the remote start stopped workin
about 2 months ago, my fogs stopped workin (it's connected to the alarm cos it went on and off when I locked the car)
about 1 month ago, my alarm still went on and off randomly and drove me crazy
eventually it stopped workin totally not even lock or unlock the door, it looks totally dead
I just don't feel spend lots of money to get a new pager or send it to car toys to fix it
And since I love flip keys, I found this flip key alarm on eBay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...photo
and it's cheap compared to other websites listed
Will this alarm a good bet ??
I don't see the big difference between this one and the brand companys' one way alarm
Will I be able to add like trunk open mod or even some nice sensors on it?
Thx

If you don't "feel" like spending the money on a good alarm setup...then the thieves won't "feel" like stealing the car next to you when they can steal yours without a problem. Its up to you man. Security isn't necessary...its just a matter of whether or not you want to wake up and walk out to your car every morning or not.

a car alarm setup for a 99 HONDA CIVIC SI is the MOST important thing you're ever going to buy for it, make sure you put the money into it buy a good quality pager alarm for it...anything after that you can cheap out as much as you want nobody else is gonna drive it except for you anyways...
