That list is not totally accurate.

I have a 97 civic EX coupe. It's Milano Red - R-81-5

It's a deeper shade of red, and it's a tri-coat paint, or whatever you call it.

Actually does anyone know the name of the yellow on the Japanese 99 HB Type R? its nice and i plan to paint it that color. If you watch Initial D 4th stage you'll know what car i'm talking about. thanks

The 5 at the end is just a batch code. This list IS accurate. Not all Hondas have the batch code. My Milano Red, for example, is straight up R-81.

I can't believe no one answered that in two years.

Phoenix Yellow. Also called Sunlight Yellow. Y-56 is the code.

Pretty much everyone on Honda-Tech knows what you mean when you say "Yellow Type R".

Come on man, he says it right there. "2000 Civic hatch" "Original White".

So it's the original white that came on a 2000 Civic hatch. Taffeta White. Just like is listed in the first post. Read the first post to figure out the code for yourself.

I'm pretty sure that is Championship White, keep in mind that it is different from the Taffeta White. i could be wrong, i'm not sure what the poster means by original white because they do offer the championship white for that year. because honestly that doesnt look like taffeta white, too 'nice'.

You are wrong. Go to the thread linked. The guy who is selling that car says "ORIGINAL WHITE". It's in red at the top of his thread even. USDM Civics did not ever come in Championship White. '98-'00 Civics that were white were Taffeta White.

Taffeta is a blueish tone of white. Championship White is a more cream color than Taffeta.
