Default obd2-obd1 GSR swap (now Cylinder Pos. sensor error code)

I have a 99 civic dx i just swapped in a OBD1 gsr, i have converted it to Obd1 (ecu,injectors,dizzy,alt.). I depinned and repinned the dizzy wires and have checked them over and over even changed them and everytime i start the car i get a error code for cylinder position sensor. Thinking it was the dizzy i replaced it with another one and the same thing. Any ideas? I'm stummped!

this problem is common. Where did you get the diagram for the dizzy colors? that diagram is wrong!! Let me know the source of your dizzy diagram and Ill see if the colors are correct.

I had the same problem from this diagram: http://www.phearable.net/tech/wiring...istributor.jpg

THIS IS WRONG! just find your CYP color and try and match them. I told phearable about this diagram and how its wrong and how they should correct it but they never have.

Mines was a little different because I had a 96-98 engine harness. I think it was the CKP wires that got switched around with the RPM lead signal. However, the 99-00 engine harness dont have the RPM lead signal pin. I'm not sure so Ill double check the wire colors tomorrow when I can and post it up here.

I ended up just matching the wire colors from harness to dizzy and it was fine after that. Motor is out now goin onto a built ls/vtec setup!
