clutch peddle adjustment question
I just got my master and slave cylinders replaced and my peddle has a few inches (~2 inches or so) more travel than it used to. I read that you can adjust it using a bolt by the clutch peddle. I just got under my car and I have some questions about that.
1. Is the bolt that you adjust the one that is located just to the right of the clutch peddle (in between the clutch and brake peddle), or is there a bolt located on the clutch peddle that I didnt notice (I have a bad neck so I didn't study it too much down there, but it didn't seem like there was a bolt anywhere on the actual clutch peddle, just the one right next to it...again I didn't study it for too long)?
2. In order to shorten the peddle travel, should I loosen or tighten the bolt?
3. Is there any reason why I shouldn't do this (potential damage to the clutch/other parts, etc.)?
Thanks so much for all the help! I asked the mechanic about it, but he said that the travel is determined by the master cylinder and isn't adjustable on a hydro clutch (it seemed like that wasn't true, because when I got the exedy stage 1 installed, the travel was shortened by about half, which made the car a lot more fun to drive). I guess he was wrong.

Re: clutch peddle adjustment question (tyrub42)
You are able to adjust the actuator rod on your clutch master cyl. Look under your dash where the clutch pedal arm meets the rod from the master cyl., there will be a lock nut, loosen that and wiggle the pedal to relieve the tension on the rod. You should then be able to spin the rod either way. If you want to clutch to grab higher then spin it so the rod is going further in to the master cyl, if you want it to grab lower do the opposite.

Word, never knew how to adjust the clutch pedal O.o
I would make my clutch grab a bit higher but I don't wanna do this - I'm afraid of ******* things up when adjusting the cylinder actuator
What's the worst that can happen when adjusting it?

Too high and the clutch will slip, too low and it will over travel the pressure plate and possibly damage the release bearing (I've seen this on DSM's not on a Honda yet) not to mention make the car very difficult to drive.
