Clutch Issue with my JDM B16
After driving for about 20mins tonight my tranny began to be more difficult to shift and it was grinding when forcing it into gear. My tranny was perfect, no grinds at all. Now all of a sudden it is really hard to put it into gear. If I rev-match the gears perfectly, it will go in smoothly. Also, the pedal pressure feels fine so I'm thinking that it can't be a problem with the slave or master cylinder. Any thoughts? Replace the clutch???
Recap:
Hard to shift
grinding when forcing it into gear
Normall pedal pressure
clutch holds fine=does not slip

Check that first for sure. Check and see if your axle seal is leaking or has gone out.

Re: Clutch Issue with my JDM B16 (nsxmatt)
Yep, it was the axel seal. I pulled everything off today to fix it.
When I went to put the new seal on, it was too small. I got one for a 94 GSR. That is saposto fit right? I thought all B series trannies used the same parts????? I'm gonna order a seal for a del sol Vtec on monday.
