Default CKF Issues

Ok I have a 96 hatch with a JDM B16A and I am trying to run a USDM P2T ECU so I can pass emissions with no check engine lights. I am running an OBD2A to OBD2B jumper harness and tried running the CKF bypass trick( http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/ckftrick.htm ) on the jumper harness. I followed the directions on the FF squad site and am still getting the P1337 code.

I unplugged my ECU and depinned wire C22 and spliced it into C29 instead of splicing then cutting or depinning it.

I unplugged my ECU and depinned wire C31 and spliced it into C30 instead of splicing then cutting or depinning it.

Anyone know why I am still throwing the code?

You prolly need to do it on the harness and not the jumper.

After reading more threads I am going to try to wire from the splice back into the ecu pins C22 and c31, if it throws code 9 then I will know what to do. If it is still code P1337 then I will try it on the main harness. It doesn't seem like it should matter on if it is on the jumper or the main harness but maybe it does.

Wired the splice back into the ECU at all 4 positions and it works.

So are you saying you did NOT originally follow the directions in the link?

No I originally followed the instructions in red in case I was to get a code 9.

"THEN EITHER DEPIN C22 FROM THE ECU PLUG OR COMPLETELY CUT IT (A FEW INCHES AWAY FROM THE PLUG) "

Problem is solved and I have not had a Code 9, figured I would post just in case someone comes across this thread.
