For the love of mike..... So as it turns out, the cause is that the fender well on the lip of the fender, where the quarter panel sheet metal is sandwiched together starts to rust and then it creeps its way up. Also, fuel filler bucket, for a lack of a better word, has like a foam/rubber seal around it and goes between the quarter panel and the fuel filler sheet metal. Well, it doesn't seal up very well, and that starts to rust and it spreads from there also. Anyways... got the rocker panels off, cut out the sheet metal for the patch panel to go in, and my god the cancer, it is just RAMPANT... Its like a nightmare, only worse.... still one whole in the floor i have to get to also.. good times...
