I'm having trouble finding it in the FSM (I can't search it), but I believe it's the same as the '93-'97 del Sol one. So says the photos I have at least.

so what you basically are sayign is that you dont have power going into the fuse box. the ignition switch is not a heavy load bearing player int he car, it is mostly just changing low current signals, the switch is after the fusebox. if you dont have power going into the box, then check the power going in more thoroughly, or the ground. try doing a voltage drop test with a load on. such as headlights, i know they dont work, ut just have them switched on.

Anyone know where to find the wire diagram on 96 honda civic inside fuel panel on number 15 as the picture here. Its say the fuse 7.5A on number 15 to the alternator, VSS, and ELD. I having problem with this fuse, keep on burnt out. I check all the wire harness on the engine bay didn't find any bad wire harness and also the ecu.

I need a diagram on this fuse number 15 so I can check to see which wire is...how to track and see what's causing this problem. As I search on here, found couple of others answer about 2 extra plugs that aren't using that those might be touching or loose. Therefore, I already check them and put electrical tape around its to make sure not touching anything.

Thanks everyone

I know a lot of people don't have the plastic sheet that fits on the door of the interior fuse panel door. So here is a copy of mine.

Sorry about that. I did removed and what's left are information that according to my car. I don't know why I kept having this problem. I did rechecked all the wire harness again on the engine bay and the wire harness by the ecu or near the ecu. I don't see what cause this to burnt fuse. On CONNECTOR "D" to the ecu on the last plug 16 (wire color: green/red) ELD or Electrical Load Detector. I checked this wire to the engine bay, I don't see anything that loose or cut anywhere and its plug good into the ecu on this Connector "D". This is the only plug that labeled "Electrical Load Detector".

Everytime, the fuse 7.5A on number 15 inside the fuse panel burnt out. It's has a check engine light and its show code 20 which ELD. With this caused the SPEED stop working, probably the alternator too. I'll try and change the alternator to a different one and see if any help. Before, I never has this problem, everything has been working good, no check engine light or anything. However, my engine got damage and I replace the long block using whatever plugs left on this long block because its is the same OBD2A. All I did was plug and play after all, nothing changed.

Thank you, I hope you can give me some help. As I search through the internet I saw couple others were having the same problem but the result was not solved. Some say replace the engine fuse box to solve this problem. I thinking of doing that but as I checked mine and compared to a friend of mine. I don't see why I need to change this fuse box. The positive and negative wires that connect to the fuse box are still good and not touching each other as I having problem in the past on my other civic. As far as other fuses that are inside this fuse box are still good. In fact, I already change all the fuses in there to new one other than the black fuse box.

It's behind the little door that's on your driver's side.

You should make another thread about this so other people can see your problem and help and so other people can find it easier if they end up with the same problem.

I would like to try to help, but want to try to keep the clutter down in this thread. I'll post in your new thread though.

Gah, forgot to post back about it.

It looks like it has to do with the stock security system.

What exactly is going on with the car besides the blown fuse?

I used the IG2 slot (#4 - Under Dash Fuse Box) to run the halo's on my headlights as DRL's (Daytime Running Lights). Hope that works for you!

BTW- Make sure that fuse #17 (7.5 A) is good because this is used with the IG2 power hookup.
