Re: (h22eg)
yeah, i have that same problem with my 97 dx except I don't have the swap, I only have the mini-me swap. Anyways, when I first start my car up for the day, it runs really great and vtec xover is very noticeable and pulls, but after the car is warm, vtec is harder to feel and it is alot harder to sound...It doesn't have a crisp engagement like when it's cold. I'm lost too.

i get a hesitation/stumble/whatever like that also...
only when in low RPM's and accelerating.
i haven't been able to figure it out.

i i would think that you have injector problems are all cylinders missing. take the cap out and see if that's a problem. also check the headgasket do a compression test .

Ok just to remind everyone:
Its not very smart to run your car hard or even to hit vtec when your engine is
cold. Let it warm up first before you cross-over , then again what do I
know, treat your motor how you like.
Now as for the problem.....Thats very odd, heat soak wouldnt be able to make
your car go from running good to misfiring/running like ****.
* However for the kid who said "note to self, dont buy a B18C......you might want to research a little more before you make a comment like that. Also to the person who said that they couldnt here vtec as well and it didnt pull as well when it wrmed up, its only natural for the car to run faster when it cold and loose a couple hp's when it warms up, due to the heat generated by the engine into the intake.
just my 0.2

Note to self, tune your obd1 gsr engine for best results.

Re: civic with b18c runs great until it warms up.. then bogs like a motha... my frien
biggg bump.
engine is b18c7 in AUDM dc2r
how were the problems resolved guys? getting this problem now..
will be fine when COLD then in operating temperature it will bog/splutter/misfire.. ONLY when its cold and between 2-3krpm... fine above 3 all the way to 9k
really frustrates me!!! plugs are also white, but car is drinking too much? how does that work!!! NO engine lights of any sought. still pulls in vtec.
at the traffic lights id be waiting, then i take off and it just completly bogs down and the revs drop to around 600rpm but does not stall.. then i got to pump the gas to revive the revs up to above 3k..
any help PLEASEEEEEE
