Default chipped p28 ecu throwing a code 6 (engine coolant temp. sensor)

ive replaced both sensors on the head and reset the ecu, i believe its a wiring problem, i need to run a new wire for the sensor. i dont know where the pinout is on the ecu. i know the wire color is yellow/green. (one wire sensor) i need to know what kind of wire to run since all wires have different resistances according to width and length.
