Fixing Threads on Seat Bolts
Okay, so I'm about to swap GSR leather seats into my EM1. The only issue I want to address before installation is a mess-up in the threads in the holes that bolt the seats to the floor of the car. It looks like the previous owner may have stripped sections of a couple of the holes. What should I do? Have someone re-tap the holes? Or, aren't there screws that "re-die" themselves as you screw them in?
Thanks in advance for your help!

called "self tapping screws"
its your life at stake. fixm right. rethread them.
but...gsr seats in an ek chassis..only 3 bolts will line up...are you switching rails?

Re: Fixing Threads on Seat Bolts
yes, I believe I only have to switch the inner rail though. Rethreading those holes, is that something I should attempt to do myself? My dad owns a tap and die set...but I've never used it. We live in the same city, so if it's easy enough of a task, I can go ahead and pick it up from him.
