change mtf on del sol
95 del sol s d15b7 mt. The oil and mtf have not been changed in the 5 years Ive owned it, only put about 10k on it though. What mtf should I use and how much. Ive read 10w30 is okay for an older s20 or mtf. Also read it shouldn't be changed if its not been chaged in a long time since that can mess it up, any truth to that?

For a manual trans, there is no truth to "if it hasn't been changed, don't change it".
Torco or Honda MTF will probably get you the best shifting feel. Or use non synthetic motor oil. Motor oil makes for slightly notchy shifting in cold weather.

Honda MTF has a pretty strong following. For the price its most likely the best your going to get. Although ive heard good things about the redline MTF aswell.

10W30 works great in an S20. Torco is nicer though. Honda MTF is IMO really too thin for those transmissions (they were designed to have 10W30 in them) and it kills input shaft bearings prematurely.
