i've got a carbon fiber trunk on my coupe, is there anything I can do so that when i go to pop the trunk it does not shoot up? doe they make trunk shocks or something like they have on the 4doors?

just cut the springs on the underside of the trunk? until you find sum better ones.

the rear trunk key opening has been shaved, if i start cutting the springs will the trunk pop still work?

i have the same problem with my EG coupe CF trunk. Its bound to to that. I seen some show not to long ago where they heated the skinny bars that run underneath where the speakers are. Im guessing to loosen the tension on it. Im not to sure what they used to do that. Hope i opened some options lol. Cuz i would like to know too

i just cut one side, drops it down to where it still pops, but only comes up about 3 inches not shooting towards the sky, looks like it lines up a whole lot better to.
