Car stalls
this is the 3rd and WORSE time this has happened. My car will randomly stall and have issues restarting.
1st Time
Pulled out of sonic, sitting at a light, and it just died..took a few tries but it restarted
2nd Time
Drivin down 45 and it just died, made it to the sholder, took about 4-5 min, but finally restarted
3rd time
was leaving my house, and made in about 1/4 of a mile and it died, costed to a safe parking lot and spent the last 30min trying to restart.
It wont start. It turns over, and if i play with the gas while trying to start, you can soon smell gas out the tail pipe. Tried to check spark but didnt have the right tools any one got ANY ideas?

check the following:
1. when car is being crank, do you have spark?(pull out one of the spark plug wires and carefully hold the tip to metal and have someone crank the car...see if you see spark
2. check to see if your injectors work. putting a screwdriver on the injector and listening to the other end of the screwdriver while car is running or cranking you can slightly hear the *pint pint pint* fireing of the injectors
3. see if you distributor is working. make sure it turns and coil and ignitor is in working condition, you can trade someone elses working ignitor or coil to test if your ignitor or coil has gone bad.(common for hondas to have bad ignitors and coils, this will cause car not to start but crank all day)
4. finally if car is turning over and no start, could be electrical problem, alarm can cause car to not start either.
good luck.

Re: (lv6l)
good info and not much i can add, but we had a problem with a friends car that sounds similar. It ended up being a combination of fuel starvation and a small and simple eletrical issue. so it could be more than one prob. hopefully not though
