Default Turning a power rack into manual

I was wondering if anyone had a DIY? I've seen a few guys taking the rack apart and cutting part of the piston. Any links for a seal kit? I do not want to loop my rack... I'd prefer not to buy a manual rack due to subframe indifference, cost and ratio. Any feedback from anyone who has done this? How is turning effort? Any help would be great, thanks!

IV read that people loop the two ends after filling it with fluid. I dont think it drives as nice as a manual rack doe.

I do not want to loop the rack. I'm trying to clean the bay up. I've seen a couple of guys open the rack up and do some cutting on what appears to be a piston... Just wanted to know what needs to be done.

you can fit a manual rack onto a power steering subframe. i think a power rack wont fit on a manual subframe.

96-00 power and manual subframes are the same and can swap without changing but I believe EG subframes differ.
