Every morning when I start up my car to warm it up, my car keeps dying. I have to keep cracking it over until i can keep it alive. Right when it stays alive, I have to hold onto the gas pedal for good 30 seconds so the car wont die. Also it keeps bogging when i try to start it and hold the gas when the motor is cold. Does anyone know what the problem is? The only check engine light I got is code 6 (water temp sensor) and code 22 (Vtec pressure valve). If this helps, I got a jdm itr motor in a 00 civic hatch. I'm using a 00 si engine harness with a 00 civic si ecu (p2t).
yea but that is a vague statement.. I dont mean to thread jack but my EJ1 is doing the same thing. Except not as bad but started when it was cold and raining, would crank the car fired up for half second the die cluster lights off, turn the key back the to on lights come back on and try to restart and it fires up but i have to revv her a bit to hold and she is rough idle for a few seconds?? any ideas

Well, i just fixed CEL 6 & 22. My dumbass switched the plugs up backwards. Now that i fixed those problems, a new Cel popped up which is 65 (Secondary oxygen sensor). How can I fix that? My Si engine harness doesn't have a secondary o2 plug. Si's have their secondary o2 plug on the body. I dont think 2000 hatchbacks have their secondary o2 plug on the body
but then the idle is fine and is perfect.. it just started monday morning when the rain came and was 39 degrees outside so thats where i am confused at
yea with my ek hatch it does the same too. idle and drive down the road nice. only die on me when i start up the car if i let the car sit for couple hours and start it up than it act funny like that, but once i get it up it's running like normal again.
