Car has trouble starting when it's cold outside
my car starts up normal when it's in my garage in the morning. when i go somewhere at night and it's cold outside, my car has a hard rime starting up. after i crank it about 5 times, the car finally starts up. after it starts up, i can drive around; park and it'll start up normally again because the engine's warmed up. anyone know what the problem is?

my car does the same thing on real cold nights, and cold mornings, no gargae ive came to the conclusion, that the crank is turning through sludge like oil, yes when its -10 out the oil does get pretty thick, and when the car is warmed up alittle, the oil thins out, and no more start up problem, just the conclusion i came to, oh well, just gotta let her warm up alittle more in the morning

i thought if you have idle problems then you'll have to clean the fitv.

check your temp sensor on the front side of the head, its a black plug with a green and red wire. if its unplugged it will give u the exact symptoms you are describing. you would also get a cel for it in case its not making a connection somewhere.
if its your battery you will know if the lights dim and car hessitates to start.

temp sensor is plugged in. i have no CEL. don't think it's my battery or alternator. i'm going to take out my starter tomorrow and check to see if that's going out. anymore suggestions?
