As I was driving today on the highway I started to notice that every time I shift from second into 3rd gear and I would try to accelerate my car wouldn't react the way it should, I was even flooring and the Rpms wouldn't go up what can this be? It's the same for Gear 3 Gear 4 And Gear 5 Its only when I shift Into these gears that my car gets sluggish Gear 1 and Gear 2 Accelerate Normally.
I have a 1999 Honda Civic Ex Manual Transmission 146000 Miles On it.
I need help guys , Thank you.

No check engine light only when I turn the ignition but it goes away in about 3 seconds like normal, as for the tuneup I really don't know since I just bought this car in March of this year

Full. *******. Tune. Up.

Cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter, ignition timing, coolant flush, oil change. Do all of the above. Make sure to spend the extra money for actual OEM, or OEM-manufacturer (NGK) ignition parts.

Re: Car gets sluggish on Gear 3
Can I just buy the whole brand new distributor instead of buying cap and rotor? Because Im pretty sure my car is leaking from the distributor and I changed the O ring but that didnt fix the leak so I think its the inside O ring and I would find it easier just to buy a new one since Ima do the tune up. Thanks
