car dies down during any strain, goofy brakes, hard vibrations
First off: I have a 97 Civic LX, just rebuilt the motor about 7000 miles ago, oem rings, acl bearings, all new gaskets, oem tbelt, all new accy belts, new water pump, mizu radiator/fan, 220A "HiAmpsAlts" alternator, Optima red top battery, new front pads
A) Whenever there is any strain on the car (subwoofers hitting, pressing brake petal, turning on ac/heat, etc) the car dies down significantly. I normally idle around 750-1000rpm, but any strain will drop it down to almost 0 to where it feels like its going to die, but it never actually dies...
B) Whenever I hit my brakes first thing in the morning (after the car has been sitting all night) there is practically NO brake pressure, I have to sit there and pump them for a bit, and then they still feel really spongy, whenever i'm sitting at a stop light the brake petal will slowly sink when im sitting at a complete stop. The car also seems to have no rear passenger brake (drum), when I have the e-brake pulled, and the car jacked up, I can still spin the wheel freely, unlike the drivers rear. The brakes were recently bled, new pads in the front, no leaks that I can see, brake cyl is full, etc.
C) Just recently my car started vibrating HARD, like the car sounds like there is a jack hammer on the hood, the car also "clunks" when I shift from 1st to 2nd, i'm assuming my mounts are shot? But the thing that seems weird to me is it just happened out of nowhere.
Edit: Also forgot about the random (and so far impossible to replicate) loss of power. Occasionally when i'm driving, around 25-35mph, the car will kinda "die", it will feel like it ran out of gas, for lack of a better explanation, then I push the clutch, rev the car, and its gone. I just recently replaced the fuel filter, plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor as well.
Thanks H-T.
