car bog and 2 step while driving.

car bog and 2 step while driving.
hello, i had recently changed my cat to a test pipe 
and now when i drive for a about 30-45 min my car will bog and it will hit 2 step at 3.5K rpm while im driving..
and then after a few more minutes a CEL will pop up, but i dont have a tool to check it and when i turn the car off it goes away, but the bogging/ 2 step issue is still there.
im thinking its my 02 sensor doing this? cause i can hear a leak i believe when i accelerate.. but im not sure why my 2 step is going on while im driving. this all started ahappening when i changed my cat to a test pipe..
im going to puit the cat back on. but im just looking for any opinions as of now. thanks
