No.. You cant.. Unless you want to over heat your block. Thermostats are like $15.00 driving with no thermostat wuld over heat one side of the block.. Dont do it

i put one in with a fail safe on it(if it breaks it stays open) a little while back, but its been over heating, need a new radiator but can't get one for 2 1/2 weeks so i was thinking tell then i run without a thermostat, and i checked my hoses and my top hose is hot and the bottom hose it not, so i'm thinking its the thermostat

How would it over heat one side of your block? I drove with a thermostat that was stuck open for 1 month. Car hardly ever got warm, not good for the engine in the long.

maybe, just maybe, he asked a question. No, you don't NEED a thermostat, it's just a good idea to have a working one. It might just occur to you that radiators cost a lot of money to fix if you are buying OEM.

If top hose is hot and bottom is cold then your radiator is plugged or water pump is bad.
Taking your thermostat out will not let your cooling system work properly. A thermostat is used to regulate engine temp.
No thermostat will cause it to take longer to warm up initially, then cause it to overheat because the coolant doesn't have long enough to cool down in the radiator.

take it to a radiator/muffler shop, have them flush out your system..see what the problem is, you dont want to risk driving like this, even having your fan wire'd straight is stupid, your engine is runner cooler then it is suppose too...your creating more problems for your self in the long run..just park the car tell you get a new rad or take it to a shop..

As for getting a new fan? WTF? The fan obviously works if it's wired to run all the time. How do you figure you need a new fan?
So you BOUGHT the car in this condition?
