Can I delete this, Where do these hoses go....
Swapped my new 70mm T-body on and ported my upper mani while I waited for it to come in the mail. Now I don't remember where everything went! I have two questions now, one can I throw out this damn evap canister? Here are a few pics of what I am talking about:
and second question is where do these hoses go? The first one comes off of the IACV and I have no idea where it needs to end up... pics are here:
and then there's this:
and I think this is where is is supposed to go. Now my other problem is I have 3 nipples on the T-body itself, 2 below and one on top, what goes to those?

I couldn't tell you for sure, but my b16a doesn't have anything going to those. They are all blocked off. I don't have any ill effects from it that I know of. But then i bought it like that also so I wouldn't know the dif.

the fitting on top of the tb went to the evap can, so just plug it. you have a coolant line that runs from intake manifold to the bottom of the tb. once it leaves the tb it goes into the iacv. after leaving there it drops down and dumps into the water pipe on the rear of the engine.

Can I dremel off the upper nipple for the evap and fill it with JBweld for a cleaner look, or is there a down side to that?

Trying to clean up the engine bay a little here, I want it to look nice and a short piece of hose with a screw sticking out of it kinda defeats the purpose of the new T-body...

well remove the hose and the screw and just put a cap on the vacuum nipple. is it really going to stand out THAT much? if you're that concerned about it remove the port and tig it up with some filler.

It's an evap canister for the fuel tank, it just lets the fumes from the tank go into the intake to get burned off instead of going into the atmosphere is all.

Ok, I pulled it all off, plugged the hose going into the T-body, left the fat hose open on the bottom, and the small hose open on the firewall. Should I cap those or trace them back and cap them?

My car has an EVAP code, could this be why I also smell exhaust/gas inside the car? That port on my TB is capped.

I will try to get a couple decent pics. I am not sure where the tubing is supposed to come from on the EVAP unit. I am going to try to put all that stuff back how it is supposed to be. Minus the coolant lines (in/out of TB).

ok so here are some pics. My EVAP unit is a little different however. Has tank in and then back out and also another section built in to the same box to the left side of these two. Has another big hose over on that side.. anyway here is where it goes from the can.

Pretty much just is that right? Where are all the hoses supposed to go! That is the main thing. Just trying to figure out what is causing me to have the EVAP code.

Your going to have to post up some better pics, I know mine aren't the best, but I try to get a few angles, and good clear shots.

Sorry, last 2 pics weren't showing up for some reason before. Someone else is going to have to chime in on this since I already pulled mine off
