Default burning smell. clutch?

ok i was doing a burnout today and went into second gear and held it full throttle and was taching around 3k rpms. now i keep getting a smell that smells like burnt brakes, im sure its the clutch. the clutch isnt slipping even under hard acceleration.

is the smell just going to go away with time, or am i looking at a clutch soon or in the future? i have 95k miles on my 92 hatch d15.

im hoping it will last til june when i do a swap after inspection. no point in me replacing the clutch when i plan on a b16 swap.

defiently not the tires. i did the burnout around 11am and i drove home about an hour ago and could smell it around the engine bay area.

Could be anything then...clutch, any driveline components, flywheel. It's just stupid to do a burnout to begin with if you don't know what your doing, don't have enough power to do it properly, or have stock axels, or engine parts.

Can really **** your car up more then you think.

Just a little something that could happen.
