Default The brake pedal hits the floor at times. Please help!!!

I did a complete integra brake swap on my 92 cx and the petal needs to be pumped at times. Most of the time it is when i have been crusing for a while or after the brakes havn't been used recently. Do you think there could be air in the lines or could i have a bad master cylinder. There isn't a leak anywhere because i hanv't lost fluid for 4000 miles. I also pumped the brakes until the pedal was very stiff and held it. The pedal didn't sink any after 1 minute with the car on and off.

Parts list:
integra brake booster, MC, proportioning valve, rear disc and front brake assemblies

Would it be worth it to get it done by a profesional or is this something that can be done just as well at home. I do all my own work so i don't like the idea of taking it somewhere. Any tips i should know about. I know the sequence is rr, lf, lr, rf, right?

its easy, but you will need a friend. have him pump, while you bleed.

Also a possibility would be that you didn't tighten your axle nut all the way.

I do it this way also when I flush my brake fluid. That way you are always at the farthest away from the mastercylinder.

It's actually a matter of getting any air pockets out of the prop. valve...

honda prop valves are crosswise not front to back... that way if you loose your front right brake you still have your rear right and front left...

the order is actually determined by distribution order not distance from master.
