Default Bleeding clutch lines??

When I bleed my clutch lines after air stops showing up in the fluid. Do I tighten the bleeder with the clutch pedal down or up?? does it matter??

Down, always tighten it before you let up on the pedal or it draws air back into the line. Best way would be to use a rubber hose on the bleeder submerged in a cup of brake fluid, that way you can do it solo.
