Best tire size for LS Mesh rims?
I need new tires for some LS rims. Right now there are 195/50/15 tires on the rims. What size would be best for performance? Also, how wide are the rims? I just got them and I've never had 15's so I don't know much about them.

wider = more contact with the road, but more chance of rub or whatever... ahhh fugg it...

To answer your actual questions, since nobody else has, LS mesh wheels are 15x6", just like every other 15" Integra alloy wheel.
Stock sized 15" tires for Civics and Integras are 195/55-15. 205/50-15 is the closest 205 to that size, so it wouldn't throw off your speedometer and odometer significantly. Also, there is a very large selection of 205/50-15 tires on the market, particularly performance tires.
I run 205/50-15 on all of my 15" wheels.

i went by what little i could gather in the RR/AC forum about it. A friend had 205's on his 6" wheels and my 195's felt better. personal preference.

205/50 Azenis only seem to have a poor, "sloppy" turn-in feel when being used with narrow wheels, such as Honda's 15x6es. They feel much better on a 15x7" or 15x7.5" wheel - the stiff sidewall makes for a crisp steering feel.
Hey, whatever works for you I'm just letting him know what works for me.

Re: (FWejCOUPE)
What's the difference between a 205 and 195? I mean I know the technical difference but what is the difference in performance?

Re: Best tire size for LS Mesh rims? (bigslimdog)
92-95 Civics have smaller tires than 96-00 Civics and 94-01 Integras. Stock 14" tire sizes were 185/60-14 for 92-95 and 185/65-14 for 96-00.
So for a 15" wheel on a 92-95 Civic, 195/50-15 is the best tire size in terms of maintaining overall diameter.
And to dispell a common width that wider is always better, given equal tire pressures, a car w/ either 195/50-15, 195/55-15, or 205/50-15 will have a contact patch of the exact same area on all of those tires. On the wider tire, the contact patch will be more narrow (front to back) than on the narrower tire. The contact patch doesn't actually get larger until you start lowering the tire pressures.
